The National Army forces repelled Monday an attack by the Houthi group on a number of sites in Taiz province, southwest of the country, military sources said. A total of 420,832 mines have been cleared since the start of the project in 2018, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday. The warring sides in Yemen, particularly the Houthis, have planted thousands of landmines in several areas, causing countless deaths and injuries among civilians.

This is our duty to aid our brothers and sisters injured in the war on Gaza. We will always be there for our Palestinian brethren.” The Israeli media quoted a military statement saying on Monday that it had “coordinated” with Jordan to air-drop vital medical supplies to a Jordanian hospital in Gaza, which has been under constant Israeli bombardment for nearly a month.

Four relatives of a journalist were killed on Sunday in an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon, and the journalist was also wounded, official news agency in Lebanon said. The border area between the two countries has seen regular exchanges of fire between Iran-backed group Hezbollah and Israel, since the start of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7. In a statement, Hezbollah said it would never tolerate attacks on civilians and its response would be “firm and strong.”
