Intelligence sources have told Sheba Intelligence that the Houthi movement has begun preparations for a new attack targeting sensitive sites in the Red Sea, indicating that the group is pressing ahead with its maritime escalation despite recent airstrikes against its military infrastructure.

According to the sources, the intended target has not yet been identified, and it remains unclear whether the operation is aimed at commercial shipping, oil tankers, energy infrastructure, or port facilities. However, the preparations reportedly include the deployment of missile launch platforms and unmanned aerial systems at the 115th Infantry Brigade camp in Al-Hazm, Al-Jawf Governorate, suggesting readiness for a long-range strike.

The reported military activity comes as government forces have raised their combat readiness across the Marib and Al-Jawf fronts amid expectations that the Houthis may combine maritime attacks with renewed ground operations.

The latest intelligence follows a series of exclusive Sheba Intelligence reports documenting the group’s broader escalation plan after announcing restrictions on Saudi-linked shipping.
