The Houthi group announced an increase in fuel prices in areas under their control in northern Yemen. In a release, the Sanaa-based oil company stated that "after calculating the costs of fuel ships recently arriving at the ports of Al-Hudaydah through fuel product importers, the fuel cost will change from Saturday morning." The statement added that the price for 20 liters of gasoline or diesel is 9,500 Yemeni rials, mentioning that the cost is subject to fluctuations in actual expenses. With this new price, 500 Yemeni rials have been added to every 20 liters of fuel. Global oil market prices have gone up since Hamas launched its surprise attack on Israeli settlements on October 7.

Saudi Arabia will invest billions of dollars in the southern region of Aseer, the head of a commission owned by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund said on Friday. "It is correct that Abha is close to Yemen ... but we are forging ahead, and the sentiment is very optimistic and very positive," Hashim Al Dabbagh, CEO of the Aseer Development Authority, said. Since April this year, Saudi Arabia and Houthis have engaged in direct peace talks to end the conflict in Yemen and stop attacks on Saudi border areas.

He condemned the international community's silence towards the violations against Palestinians, indicating what is happening in Gaza demonstrates the double standards of the UNSC.
