The Yemeni Parliament has said that the report of the fact-finding committee which was formed to evaluate the government performance in different sectors, revealed violations, irregularities, and abuse of authority that caused serious repercussions on people's lives, public money, and public services.

The Presidency of the Parliament sent a letter to the government, saying that all the previous governments had not commited such violations, and the performance of the current government is "unusual".

In April this year, a parliamentary committee was formed to investigate allegations of irregularities in the oil, electricity, telecommunications and financial issues.
