Yemeni Army Accuses Houthis of Attacking Police Training Center in Shabwa

Dozens were killed or wounded on Monday in a missile attack on Al-Alam training camp in Jardan district, Shabwa governorate, southeastern Yemen.

The spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces said the Houthis targeted the center with three ballistic missiles. He said the facility trains security and police personnel, accusing the group of deliberately killing Yemenis across the country’s governorates.

Local sources said the death toll had risen to approximately 45, with dozens more wounded. Sheba Intelligence could not independently verify the casualty figures.

The wounded were taken to hospitals across the governorate, amid urgent appeals for blood donations in Ataq, Shabwa’s capital.
