Warning to Civilians and Amnesty Offer
The Yemeni military urged families in Houthi-controlled areas to protect their children from recruitment and warned civilians to avoid military positions, troop concentrations and active combat zones.
It also reiterated that the amnesty announced by Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi remains available to Houthi fighters who surrender their weapons and withdraw from combat.
The military accused Houthi forces of continuing attacks against residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure in Taiz, while maintaining that government operations are directed at military targets in accordance with international humanitarian law.
The claims regarding battlefield losses, civilian targeting and compliance with humanitarian law have not been independently verified.
