The Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) has reported 32 new cases of polio in Houthi-controlled areas since the beginning of this year. The newly reported cases include 4 in Hodeida, 4 in Amran, and one each in Al Bayda, Taiz, and Dhamar.
Yemen Airways Resumes Flights to Cairo and Mumbai
The Yemen Airways Administration in Sana’a announced the commencement of civil flights to Cairo and India via Sana’a International Airport starting today. Scheduled operations include daily flights between Sana’a and Cairo, and two flights per week between Sanaa and New Delhi.

The Office of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen concluded a meeting in Mukalla, Hadramout, with the participation of 70 representatives from various components of Yemeni society. Legitimate Government Warns of IRGC Transferring Militias to Yemen
Yemeni Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Moammar Al-Eryani, issued a warning about the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). He stated that the IRGC has been transferring thousands of sectarian militias to Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen. These militias are from Pakistan and Afghanistan. This has been happening over the past few months.
New Executions in Yemen
The Houthi-run judicial authorities have endorsed the execution of three individuals from Mahweet governorate. Abducted nine years ago, these victims are now part of a series of executions targeting Houthi opponents.
