Sources: Potential Strikes Will Target Houthi Military Sites After U.S. Warship Interception of Three Missiles From Yemen

Strikes by foreign forces will hit the Ansar Allah (Houthi) military sites and equipment in the coming hours, and Houthi military and civilian leaders have begun moving from their routine places for fear of being targeted, informed sources told Sheba Intelligence on Thursday.
The sources said the strikes on the Houthis will be retaliatory after a U.S. Navy warship on Thursday took out three missiles fired from Yemen and heading north. U.S. officials said the USS Carney, a Navy destroyer, was in the Red Sea and intercepted the three missiles. One of the officials told CNN that Iranian-backed Houthis fired the missiles.
Informed Sources told Sheba Intelligence that the Houthi missiles were fired from Abs area in Hajjah to the north of Yemen and the drones from Al-Luhaya District in Al-Hudaydah to the west of Yemen.
The USS Carney transited the Suez Canal on Wednesday and was deployed to the Middle East to help ensure maritime security and stability in regional waters, the US Naval Forces Central Command said.
The Iranian-backed Houthi expressed support for the Palestinians and threatened to attack Israel with missiles and drones. The U.S. officials said it was not certain that the missiles were aimed at Israel.
Ten days back, a Yemeni intelligence source expected attacks by the Houthi group against international forces in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. The source told Sheba Intelligence, “The Houthis have information about an imminent strike that might be carried out by foreign forces targeting the group’s missile force, and they are preparing to carry out pre-emptive strikes.
Last week, the Houthi group chief, Abdulmalek Al-Houthi, said he would intervene in the Hamas-Israel conflict if the United States intervenes. He threatened to respond to U.S. intervention in Gaza with drones, missiles, and other military options.
Sheba Intelligence has monitored the movements of the Houthi missile force and drones as part of the war scenarios that may start in Yemen under the pretext of confronting the United States and Israel. The Houthi group has different centers in Yemen to engage in the war: Al-Hudaydah, Taiz-Al Bayda, Al-Jawf, Sa’ada-Amran, and Sanaa.
Late last month, Sheba Intelligence reported that the Houthi specialized naval forces received intensive training in the Al-Luhaya district in the presence of foreign experts. The task of the trained team would be to install explosives on shipping routes when requested.
